A Step Beyond Chicago Estate Sale Services provides you with professionally conducted estate liquidations, moving sales, downsizing sales, foreclosure sales, estate probate, and business liquidations throughout the Chicago area.

There are two basic estate sale service options which can be fully customized:

Base Option 1:  On-Site Estate Sale Services

A Step Beyond will hold a conducted liquidation sale on-site for the contents of the home. Our estate sale services include:

Accountability - we are one of the only Estate sale professionals in Chicagoland to provide a full disclosure of your sale. We never impose restrictions when it comes to your accounting. No exclusions - No conditions! This means accounting for all estate sale transactions so you know exactly what your items sold for.

Advertising - we take care of all advertising; local and online advertising, website advertising, newspaper print ads, signage on major local roads, and their associated costs;

Management - we personally conduct and manage all the appraising, preparation, organization, presentation, research, merchandising and marketing of your estate sale;

Permits - we obtain required permits, if local municipalities mandate, at our expense;

Security - we provide security, customer assistance, and crowd control during your sale;

Clean Up - we will supply you with various options on how best to disburse or dispose of any remaining content. For a minimal fee we will box up the contents for charitable organizations, consign remaining items for you, or you may choose to keep the items left. There are many options available for your peace of mind.

Base Option 2:  Estate Sale Buy-out Service

A Step Beyond can purchase the entire or partial contents of your home / estate at a mutually agreed upon price from the executor / homeowner or POA (Power of Attorney) representing the family. This option liquidates the home's contents to take your home / estate to market.
